About the Role

As a Social Media & Content Operations Intern, you will help BDA and its founder consistently create, organize, publish and track valuable business content.

You will convert raw inputs such as voice notes, videos, case studies, client results and business insights into clear social media content.

This is an execution-focused role. Content strategy and final approval will remain with the BDA team.

  • Duration: Long-term internship, preferably 12–24 months
  • Working Hours: Approximately 4 hours per day
  • Location: Remote
  • Stipend: ₹5,000 during the 30-day paid trial, increasing to ₹7,000–₹10,000 per month based on performance
  • Incentives: Additional incentives based on consistency, content quality and qualified inbound enquiries

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation and Repurposing

  • Convert voice notes, videos and rough ideas into structured content drafts
  • Repurpose case studies and client results into social media content
  • Create LinkedIn posts, captions, carousels and branded graphics
  • Convert long-form content into multiple short-form posts
  • Edit short-form videos using tools such as CapCut
  • Write clear hooks, captions and calls to action
  • Use AI tools responsibly for research, drafting and repurposing
  • Verify facts before submitting content for approval

Design and Video Production

  • Create designs using approved Canva templates
  • Follow BDA’s fonts, colours, layouts and visual guidelines
  • Add captions, transitions and basic graphics to videos
  • Resize content for different social media platforms
  • Maintain consistency across posts, carousels and videos
  • Organize editable design and video files properly

Content Publishing

  • Maintain the weekly and monthly content calendar
  • Schedule approved content using the assigned publishing tools
  • Publish content on the correct platform and at the scheduled time
  • Check formatting, links, tags and visual quality before publishing
  • Update the content status after publication
  • Ensure no approved content is delayed or missed

Social Media Engagement

  • Monitor comments, mentions and relevant messages
  • Identify conversations requiring a response from the founder or team
  • Prepare suggested replies for approval
  • Track common questions and audience feedback
  • Identify relevant industry conversations in which BDA can participate
  • Escalate potential leads or business enquiries to the growth team

Content Operations

  • Maintain an organized content and idea bank
  • Organize voice notes, videos, case studies and source materials
  • Track each content item from idea to publication
  • Maintain folders for approved, scheduled and published content
  • Record content links and publication dates
  • Coordinate with team members for required inputs and approvals
  • Maintain a library of high-performing content for future repurposing

Performance Reporting

  • Track reach, engagement, profile visits, saves and enquiries
  • Prepare a concise weekly content-performance report
  • Identify topics and formats receiving stronger responses
  • Report content that generated conversations or qualified enquiries
  • Recommend which successful content should be repurposed
  • Maintain accurate monthly performance records

Expected Outcomes

  • Create 12–16 social media posts per month
  • Produce 8–12 branded graphics or carousels per month
  • Edit 4–8 short-form videos per month
  • Maintain an updated monthly content calendar
  • Publish 100% of approved content on schedule
  • Maintain an organized content and asset library
  • Submit accurate weekly performance reports
  • Ensure every business enquiry is reported to the growth team
  • Reduce the founder’s involvement in routine content production and publishing

Targets may be adjusted based on content quality, available source material and level of responsibility.

Who Can Apply

  • Are pursuing a degree in marketing, business, management, media or communication
  • Can write clear and simple English
  • Have basic knowledge of Canva and video-editing tools
  • Understand how LinkedIn, Instagram and other social platforms work
  • Can convert rough information into organized content
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Can follow brand guidelines and content checklists
  • Can meet deadlines without repeated reminders
  • Are comfortable using AI tools for content assistance
  • Can accept feedback and improve your work
  • Can commit consistently for at least 12 months

Previous professional experience is not required, but practical content, design or video-editing ability is essential.

Content and Brand Guidelines

The selected intern must:

  • Never publish content without approval
  • Never invent client results, facts or statistics
  • Avoid generic, copied or low-quality AI-generated content
  • Never disclose confidential client or company information
  • Use only approved logos, colours, fonts and templates
  • Preserve BDA’s professional and systems-focused positioning
  • Check spelling, grammar, links and formatting before publication
  • Escalate negative comments, complaints and sensitive messages
  • Maintain organized copies of all editable content files
