About the Role
As a Growth Operations Intern, you will support BDA’s client acquisition process by researching potential customers, maintaining an accurate sales pipeline, executing approved outreach and ensuring that no qualified prospect or follow-up is missed.
This is an execution-focused role with defined processes and measurable outcomes.
- Duration: Long-term internship, preferably 12–24 months
- Working Hours: Approximately 4 hours per day
- Location: Remote
- Stipend: ₹5,000 during the 30-day paid trial, increasing to ₹7,000–₹10,000 per month based on performance
- Incentives: Additional incentives for qualified appointments and successful conversions
Key Responsibilities
Prospect Research
- Research companies matching BDA’s target customer profile
- Identify founders and relevant decision-makers
- Find and verify business contact information
- Study company websites and LinkedIn profiles
- Identify possible operational challenges in each business
- Categorize prospects by industry, size, location and requirements
- Maintain accurate prospect records in the CRM
Outreach and Follow-ups
- Prepare personalized messages using approved templates
- Support outreach through LinkedIn, email and WhatsApp
- Track responses and update prospect status
- Complete all scheduled follow-ups on time
- Identify interested and qualified prospects
- Escalate relevant responses to the sales team
- Maintain professional communication with prospects
CRM and Pipeline Management
- Add and update leads in the CRM
- Maintain correct pipeline stages and next actions
- Record conversation notes and prospect requirements
- Identify leads with overdue follow-ups
- Keep the sales pipeline clean and updated
- Ensure no qualified opportunity is missed
Appointment Coordination
- Coordinate meeting times with interested prospects
- Share meeting links and relevant information
- Send confirmations and reminders
- Confirm prospect attendance before meetings
- Update meeting outcomes and next actions in the CRM
- Follow up on proposals when instructed
Growth Reporting
- Maintain a daily activity tracker
- Prepare a weekly pipeline report
- Report prospects researched, messages sent, responses received and appointments booked
- Identify messages and channels generating better responses
- Highlight stalled opportunities and overdue follow-ups
- Share useful prospect feedback with the team
Expected Outcomes
- Add 15–20 verified prospects per working day
- Maintain at least 95% CRM data accuracy
- Complete 100% of scheduled follow-ups
- Generate relevant and qualified conversations
- Improve the number of attended sales appointments
- Ensure every interested prospect has a recorded next action
- Submit accurate daily and weekly reports
Targets may be adjusted based on campaign quality, market response and level of responsibility.
Who Can Apply

- Are pursuing a degree in business, management, sales or marketing
- Can communicate clearly in written and spoken English and Hindi
- Are comfortable using Google Search, LinkedIn and spreadsheets
- Are interested in sales, business research and customer acquisition
- Have strong attention to detail
- Can follow a structured process
- Can complete repetitive work without losing accuracy
- Can follow up consistently without repeated reminders
- Are comfortable learning CRM and outreach tools
- Can take ownership of measurable outcomes
- Can commit consistently for at least 12 months
Previous sales experience is helpful but not required. Research ability, communication, consistency and ownership are more important than academic marks.
Communication Guidelines
The selected intern must:
- Never send unapproved pricing, offers or commitments
- Never use misleading information to generate appointments
- Avoid spam and irrelevant bulk outreach
- Protect prospect and customer information
- Record every important interaction in the CRM
- Follow BDA’s outreach frequency guidelines
- Escalate pricing, proposal and technical questions
- Communicate respectfully with every prospect

High-performing interns may later manage industry-specific pipelines, outreach campaigns, partnerships, product sales or selected client acquisition initiatives.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will complete a practical assignment involving:
- Researching 10 selected companies
- Identifying the correct decision-makers
- Finding and verifying relevant business information
- Identifying a possible operational challenge for each company
- Writing a personalized outreach message
- Organizing the information in a structured prospect tracker
Selection will be based on research accuracy, communication, judgment, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
